so this is my first post on my blog. as you can see. for the past two years, i have been trying to figure out what i want to major in. when i first went up to byu-idaho in the summer of 2006, my plan was to go into construction management. it was something my whole senior year of high school was kind of focused on. taking classes such as engineering tech and ACE (architecture, construction and engineering) Academy. they went well for me and further pushed me into heading into those fields. somewhere up at school though, i lost most, but not all, of my desire to major in one of those fields. math defenitely has to be one of the reasons. me and math have never been good friends. so for the past two years, i've been toying around with a few different ideas. basically trying to figure myself out and what i really want to do with my future. some thoughts have stuck in my head. i.e. sports medicine, teaching (believe it or not, i think i might enjoy teaching kids), some sort of graphic design, and photography. photography has been the one that has stuck with me the entire time. it's something that i enjoy doing a lot. currently, the only digital i have is a little sony point and shoot. my goal for this summer is to be able to get a dslr. as for now, these are some of my current favorite pictures i've taken with my point and shoot. it's a really crappy camera if there is anything moving in the picture, but it's a fairly decent one for shooting close up. let me know what you think.
